Welcome to our for sale page. At this time the horses that we are offering for sale are our more modern bred horses the original appaloosas that we stared out with until we realized there is a difference in breeding and bloodlines. All of these horses have great foundation bloodlines just not what our goal is here at Indian Prairie. They have all been trail ridden and shown in 4H. They are the horses we have used for inexperienced riders. They are all excellent mounts safe for a beginner and fun for the  experinced rider. Everyone that rides them enjoys them.

Herbie is the sire of Susie and Sammy they are full brother and sister. We have since gelded him after he sired these 2 foals for us. He is 14.1H

This 14h mare has been there done it. Easy going. All of our children have learned to ride on her been shown in 4H won 1st place in trail class for one of our daughters first year in 4H. We have used her for man camp and many inexperienced men have ridden her. We use this mare for any one that wants to ride that is inexperienced. She is a great all around prospect and has lots of potential. Can do what is asked of her in any discipline that you choose. We have several younger horses that we need to train and start riding. We have had two babies from her, she does not fit our breeding program. It is time for her to go to a family that will love her and use her to her best abilities. She rides double or single man, women or child.

Shes Got The Spots Pedigree

Sammy is 15.3H gelding. Our daughter used him for her first year in 4H after he had 30 days of training. He took good care of our little girl. He was just green broke. Trainer said he would make a great speed horse. Our daughter was not very experinced and was not comfortable going fast and he took good care of her went her own pace. Been on many trail rides! Loads, hauls ties just fine!
